Trent Ivey Scores Carolina Clash Victory At Cherokee Speedway; Yarbrough Crowned Champion

Gaffney, South Carolina (11/17/24) - The Carolina Clash Super Late Model Series traveled to "The Place Your Mama Warned You About" Cherokee Speedway located in Gaffney, South Carolina on Sunday November 17th for the "Blue Gray" event paying $20,000 to win. The event was also co-sanctioned with the Mid-East Super Late Model Series. The 60 lap event was the final event for the Carolina Clash Tour in 2024.

Trent Ivey of Union, South Carolina led flag to flag Sunday at Cherokee Speedway to score his third career victory with the Carolina Clash Super Late Model Series worth $20,000. Daulton Wilson, Donald McIntosh, Michael Brown, and Jonathan Davenport rounded out the top five finishers. The fast qualifier of the event was Trent Ivey with a time of 15.607 seconds. Heat race winners included Trent Ivey, Jonathan Davenport, Zack Mitchell, and Daulton Wilson. B-Main winners included Casey Roberts and Adam Yarbrough. The hard Charger of the event was Michael Brown (Started 10th / Finished 4th).

As the 2024 season concluded Sunday at Cherokee Speedway for the Carolina Clash Super Late Model Series; Adam Yarbrough of Denver, North Carolina scored his first career Carolina Clash Tour Championship. Dale Timms took Rookie of the Year honors.
