Ben Watkins Scores Carolina Clash Victory At Cherokee Speedway

Gaffney, South Carolina (4/22/23) - The Carolina Clash Super Late Model Series traveled to "The Place Your Mama Warned You About" Cherokee Speedway located in Gaffney, South Carolina on Saturday April 22nd for the annual "Stick Elliott Memorial" event paying $5,000 to win.

After starting from the pole Ben Watkins of Rock Hill, South Carolina led flag to flag Saturday at Cherokee Speedway to score his ninth career victory with the Carolina Clash Super Late Model Series worth $5,000. The victory was also Watkins second of the season with the Carolina Clash Tour. Benji Hicks, Brett Hamm Ross Bailes, and Kyle Strickler rounded out the top five finishers. The fast qualifier of the event was Ben Watkins with a time of 15.110 seconds. The hard Charger of the event was Kyle Strickler (Started 14th / Finished 5th).
