Benji Hicks Scores Carolina Clash Victory At Lavonia Speedway

Lavonia, Georgia (4/21/23) - The Carolina Clash Super Late Model Series traveled to Lavonia Speedway located in Lavonia, Georgia on Friday April 21st for the annual "Buck Simmons Memorial" event paying $7,500 to win.

After starting seventh Benji Hicks of Mount Airy, North Carolina took the lead on lap twenty and led the remainder of the event to score his second career victory with the Carolina Clash Super Late Model Series worth $7,500. Brett Hamm, Brent Dixon, David McCoy, and John Henderson rounded out the top five finishers. The fast qualifier of the event was John Henderson with a time of 15.382 seconds. B-Main winners included Ross Bailes and Anthony Sanders. The hard Charger of the event was Gray Parton (Started 21st / Finished 10th).
